Meridox (PTY) Ltd was challenged into existence by the ever-growing need in South Africa for companies that can craft solutions in the construction industry that prioritize the empowerment of our youth and women.

The company was established in 2011 by a young female entrepreneur who had a vision to harness opportunities that will enable her to redress the socio-economic imbalances that marginalize both the youth and women in this country by availing them a breakthrough into the construction industry through training programmes and the implementation of an empowerment driven programme of action that continuously scan the industry landscape for gaps that can make the empowerment intent a reality.

To promote skills development by creating employment for unskilled individuals and promoting job opportunities for skilled labourers and promoting economic development through long-term projects.

It is the company’s basic goal to see ourselves successfully achieving and implementing the following:

GOALS Alleviate poverty and eradicate crime by job creation.
Play a visible role in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
Empower and employ females, especially from disadvantaged communities and 2% disabled people as the company’s permanent personnel.
To empower the community within which the project is executed by purchasing construction materials and others.
Meridox (PTY) Ltd believes in enhancing knowledge through skills transfer.
To train a group of employees to leave useful skills within the community.

Thulisiwe Matamela is owned by black female entrepreneur. Thulisiwe is from a previously disadvantaged background (PDI’s). We are therefore positioned to provide social and technical services to the value that will give us an opportunity to serve our communities.

Degree in Bachelor of Economics
Certificate in Project Management
Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
